Which magazine

Hi guys,

I want to get a magazine subscription for my dad for his birthday and i just want to hear some of your recommendations.

he is mainly into landscape stuff and scenery etc...

The magazines tend to cycle through common subjects over the course of the year. Landscape, portrait, macro, night shots, wildlife etc.

I quite like Digital Photographer magazine. Nice articles, reviews etc and a DVD with tips on using photoshop/lightroom to do post production. Digital Camera magazine is almost identical. I tend to just pick either up depending on the articles that month.

But, there are a lot out there and they're all very similar so any would probably do.

a lot depends on his level as a photographer, quite a few of the main magazines have a clear bias towards newbies where as if he is more experienced he may benefit from a more specialist magazine.
