Which Mechanical Keyboard should I get out of these?

If I were you, i'd avoid the QPad.

I'd go with the Corsair for that price, as it has the best looks as well as having solid build quality. The Quickfire Rapid and Ducky keyboard are both great contenders with great build quality.

One thing what separates them for me is that the Corsair has a proper tenkeyless design, where as the Ducky has the full keyboard layout. The Coolermaster is sort of in between with added backlighting.

If your son is a gamer he may appreciate a full-sized left shift key, the Qpad uses a reduced size left shift but does have a UK layout, the Ducky has a full size left shift but looks like it's a US layout. The Corsair has a full sized left shift but is a compact tenkeyless design so no numeric keypad and the CM Storm Quickfire TK comes in various flavours, some with a full sized left shift, some without and looks like it's a US layout.

Black Friday sales start around 25th November, depending on the shop, retailer, or e-tailer

Surely gamers want a smaller left shift key as it gives you an extra key to map.

Depends on what your used to, I started gaming with WASD and a full width left shift key, I cant use a keyboard with a small left shift, my pinkie usually hits somewhere between the left shift and the extra key. If I wanted extra keys I would probably choose ESDF which many gamers prefer over WASD.

ive noticed that Qpad is a very popular keyboard choice however some people have said that they are of low quality, is this true?
