Simple question, just curious which media players OCUKers use.

I am on Windows Media Player at the moment, I quite like it personally..., its clean, easy to use, and does everything I want. Even has plugin support and a convenient bar I can use in the toolbar.

Had Winamp before, but found it a bit tricky to get used to, wasn't particularly keen on the interface either, but that's just me :p

MediaMonkey as an application that i launch to play loads of music, because there really isn't a more versatile or better player out there at all. If there is, someone please tell me :). It's not the fastest to load and uses a fair amount of memory, but i have a modern processor and 4GB of RAM, so i'd rather take the hit on that and have the best.

Foobar2000 set as my default audio player - because its the most lightweight player around, and its super quick to load if i'm checking out audio files from within windows explorer.

VLC for 99% of my Video Files, MPC otherwise.

I use Foobar2000 as I can configure it exactly how I want it. And have done so. :D

Just need a decent music player for Linux as I don't like Amarok. :p

cant stand WMP for movies - typical MS bloated crapware.

Media Player Classic gives you MANY more options and its super small and fast.

wmp11 x86 on vista 64bit (can use 64bit if I really want though but misses a few codecs I use) for dvd and media files (non music)

Got Media Player Classic Home Cinema for the rare occassions that wmp11 doesn't support a file.

Use iTunes for my mp3 music.

WMP 11 for music, it's the best out of all I have tried, great interface and does what it is meant to do, don't care about useless features, I just want an app that automatically monitors my music collection and presents it nicely, with the amount of files I have the others are not that great.

For video, MPC. It was VLC, but the new VLC is awful and MPC with the appropriate codecs is miles better.

Zoom Player Pro for all video
iTunes Bloat for Audio, and Touch/iPhone syncing but I'm now switching back to Foobar2k for ASIO audio.
