I thinking of buying the following upgrade
Asus Rampage Formula Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.16GHz (1333FSB) - Retail
Thermalright Ultra-120A CPU Cooler (Socket AM2/LGA775)
Scythe S-FLEX 1200RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan - 3/4 pin
Just at a loss as to what memory to purchase. I would like to clock the E8500 so some decent clocking ram would be cool and I'd like to purchase a set that is a little future proof so if I do decided to get a Quad in the future it will still be compatible with it
Do I buy DDR2-6400 or DDR2-8500? Any recommendations which will work well with the board I have chosen?
