Which Memory in DDR3 for Q6600?

I'm likely to be getting the P5E3 Deluxe mobo and a Q6600 CPU. I was looking at the 1600MHz 2GC OCZ RAM, but then wondered if I'd get the full potential from it...

Please can someone advise, and let me know if there is better RAM I could use on this mobo and CPU setup?

IMO I would leave DDR3 until it becomes more mainstream, DDR2 is perfectly good for the moment plus it way cheaper too

hmm, i was wondering which DDR3 too.

The corsair or OCZ 4ghz 1600 kits ??

The £89.99 ocz kit will do 1800Mhz at 8 8 8 24

OCZ claims Asus do something to the Bios that made their Memory act up on the Striker Extreme (I had to get rid of OCZ), I am not sure if that extends to the Striker II Formula and Striker II Extreme.

I would read the sticky on OCZ forums.

I will only ever use Corsair now after using since 2001 and never any trouble (tried a few other brands on the 680 and 780 but got issues).
