Okay, im Looking for a 2gb kit of RAM.

I currently have single channel of RAM generic 1gb (2x512). Now I this is currently oced my opteron 146 at 2.66Ghz and my RAM runs at DDR266.

So now I pose the question, will i get up to 3Ghz.

G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit (F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ) (MY-008-GS)

or

Mushkin 2GB DDR XP4000 Extreme Performance Dual Channel Kit (2x1GB) CAS3 (991483) (MY-000-MK)

The only things I notice different is that the Mushkin is a higher price, and the timings are slightly tighter.

So should I get one of these? Or get a different kit?

Thanks for the advice ^_^

Oh btw

Current system

Muskin's are the same as the OCZ's i.e. the OCZ PC4000 EB 2GB kit which is about £25 cheaper :). As to which is for you, I know those tighter timing sticks are amazing and clock well as well as some being able to clock down to 200mhz with 2-3-2-7 1T. If you have the money, I'd put it there but if not, the HZ is by no means bad at all. The HZ price is so cheap, I'd probably go for that but it is up to you :).
