Which memory spec for E6600 (confused)

I'm looking to upgrade soon to an E6600 so have been looking at other components too.

I'm really confused about the Ram though :confused:

I see a lot of posts about what people are buying but I don't understand the specs/speeds - PC4200, PC5300 etc.

I'm not looking for brand recommendations (Geil get mentioned a lot though) but some pointers about which spec/speed would be great. If it helps I'm not into O/C'ing but I am a gamer.

So is PC6400 a better spec than the others (therefore better value for money) ?

Right, so in fact I could use PC4200, PC5300 or PC6400 with the E6600.

Bearing in mind that I'm not intending to O/C I'm assuming that I'm being recommended the PC6400 purely because the prices are so close that I might as well get the best ?
