Which memory stick for Blu Ray player?

I just ordered my first Blu Ray player and one of the things I want to use it for is to play HD video files (like up to 8gb) from a memory stick, but I'm not sure which stick to buy or if it even matters which one I go for. Anyone got any recommendations?

maximum file size is 4gb stored, for plug in storage on a Sony blu ray player, has to format as fat32 which is what is the limit.
Ps that's for the Sony one BTW also playing MKV's is only possible from the memory stick, cannot see them or recognize them on nas, PC's etc so only way to play mkv files is through a memory stick limited to 4gb.

I play MKV files 20gb 40gb etc using my A C Ryan media player attached to it is 2 2gb external Hard drives and more drives via a Powered USB hub.
also use a keyboard and mouse with it.
