Which memory would I use with this processor? And what's a memory controller?

I'm considering getting the following...
Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz Lynnfield Socket LGA1156
Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3

I understand this would use dual channel DDR3 RAM, but are there any other things I need to consider? This is for a non-overclocked machine for the time being, it should be noted. I was considering this...

...but then I noticed something on the processor about a memory controller and it had 800/1066/1333 MHz written next to it. Does that mean I have to pick out RAM that runs at those speeds or something? A little guidance would be appreciated. :)

Yeah, it means officially the memory controller on the CPU supports up 1333MHz RAM, though it will likely go faster with manual configuration. If you used the RAM you linked to the CPU will default to some slower speed, which might let you tighten the timings of the RAM up a bit to compensate or you can try manually configuring it in the BIOS but this might be tricky.

Either way, the loss of performance you would experience in running at a slower speed is so small that you won't notice in reality.

Edit: The main benefit of using faster RAM is that the RAM won't be the limiting factor in an overclock.
