which memory

i have an asus A8N-sli 939 motherboard,with ddr400,X244000cpu memory an was wondering, 3d mark 06 says i can put ddr2 in but ive been told only ddr is compatible,if it can is it worth it .

ddr2 is physically different in size also soo i doubt your board will take unless you have 2 types of memory slots.

also i would say its not worth it anyway, save the money for a full upgrade later
