Which memory

Just a quickie I have 8gb (4x2gb) of the following ram, which should I put in my computer? Motherboard is an Asus m4a785d-m pro amd 785 ddr2.

*Kingston hyper x ddr2 8500c5 1066mhz duel channel
*ocz platinum ddr3 pc3-12800c9 1600mhz ultra low voltage duel channel

I'm right in thinking its a no brainer right and to use the ocz stuff?

Well if it is a DDR2 board like you say it is i would go with the DDR2

Wouldn't the DDR 3 be quicker though cause of the Mhz? Or does it not work like that?

If your board only supprots DDR2 memory then the DDR3 memory will not work. I dont even think the modules will fit into the slots.

Absolutely, DDR2 won't fit into DDR3 slots and vice versa

I always preferred Kingston/Corsair but OCZ also seems to be excellent judging by the recent reviews
