Which Memtest test for total ram stability

i want to test my ram which tests should i do and how long should i do them for i heard a few hours is enough for ram? any help appreciated

Test 5 in memtest86+ is good, do about an hour looping to see if it picks up any errors.

Windows memtest is also very sensitive in picking up errors:

Hey minstadave, right i have my Geil Value at 216MHZ at the moment im trying to get it stable but it just failed memtest after about 20 mins the first time round i had it at 2.85 with a shed load of errors so i bumped it up to 2.9 and got 2 errors after 50 min's is safe to push it up to 2.95 or is it a lost cause my timings are fairly tight there at 2.5,4,4,7 where can i go from here its the only thing letting my rig down at the moment its the Geil Value Blue heatspreader kit.

Ive spent a week with memory errors on my new rig everyone thought it was mobo or memory errors but after i set as much in bios to manual it ironed out all errors so its something i would recommend you do.
