Hey all,
I am currently evaluating the results of a conducted survey, however wondering which of the following would be the most valid method to do so. My supervisor for this has said both would be fine however I want to ensure that I pick the most appropriate and valid method.
Example results:
Method 1) Calculating the mean, so in this example 3.7, which would then need rounding up to give 4 as the overall answer.
Method 2) Calculating the percentage, which in this example would result in the overall majority of 60% selecting 4 as their answer.
Thanks for any help,
Jcb33.
