Which Mixamp to go for?

I'm torn between 5.8 and the pro model, though I must admit, I can't really spot the difference between the two (trying to read the site quite minimised at work right now

)

Which model did you go for, and why - is the only difference wireless?

I've got the 5.8 wireless and love it - I actually bought the pack which was the Mixamp and A40 headset.

The wireless is very handy if you can justify the extra expence, and if you go for this option I'd also recommend getting the recharable battery pack for it as ordinary batteries don't last that long.

I chose the wired model, despite the wireless one being slightly cheaper at the time (introductory offer). I use a wired 360 controller anyway and prefer not to have to worry about batteries

You wouldn't have to worry about batteries anyway as you can run the Wireless one off a usb cable (supplied) from the base without any batteries being inserted so that shouldn't be a consideration for Supercow.

The battery life on the recharge pack is really good though so I'd recommend getting that and should it start to die just plug in the USB cable, it will charge and you can continue playing.

Cheers for that - I was also kinda hesitant/worrying about recharging stuff all the time ( I got a 1 year old and all the bloody toys need recharging!!!)
