Which MMORPG

So, I would REALLY want to start to play a MMORPG. I have some mates who play WoW, so that´s a game I have thought. Though the monthly fee alienates me from it

Is guild wars good? Any other great MMORPGs around?

MMO are sociable games, without a good group to play with they will be rubbish. SO I would at least try WOW as your mates already play.

I'd echo this.

If your mates play, join them.

If you are the type of person who can make online friend quickly, then play what you fancy, it wont matter as you'll find online frined pretty fast.

Just to add to what they've said.

Playing at regular times each day is the best way to quickly make friends and if you want to play a decent MMORPG then you're going to have to pay a monthly fee.

If you want to make new friends, buy guild wars, or download one of these

Knights online
silk road online

thats all i can think of right now, but wow keeps improving as you keep paying for it,so they keep updating it, WoW is better but these 2 are not too bad

Hardly a fortune, and if your mates already play WoW try that out.

There are a few that offer a week or 2 trial for free now, see what you like.

Personally I play Dark Age of Camelot on the US servers as the Euro population is dead.

I love it.

Granado Espada is a good option if you are tired of dumbed down MMORPG's like World of Warcrack and Guild Wars.
