Which Mobile Phone Holder -> CD Mount

Hey guys,

I am currently looking for a mobile phone holder for my car. Due to the style of the dash my preference is for a CD slot mount, but I am looking for a height adjustable one with swivel so it can be angled appropriately and stay above the gear stick. Does anyone have any recommendations? It must be stable etc....

I couldnt find a decent slot one, ended up with a little magnet thing that goes on the air vent, works surprisingly well.

Just looking at the magnet ones now funnily enough. Seeing a lot of good reviews on some of the ones that stick to the dash, with a magnet on the other end

i use Brodit ones
you select one part for car and where you want to install it, 2nd half is your phone/sat nav

Car is a Z4 35is 2010

Hi there. I’ve got a Z4 also, and although not height adjustable i went with this.

When dragged all the way to the driver’s side it can accommodate my Galaxy S9 without the gear level touching it. It does tilt and rotate so you can point it up towards you with ease and is very stable.

Note that mine is an auto (yours too being an is). Anybody with a manual might struggle as i imagine they might punch the phone if making spirited gear changes. The phone is still in front of the gearstick but not directly. It is slightly to the side so you can engage reverse without knocking theohone.
