Leaning towards the Biostar at the moment

Don't want to spend daft cash so around the £100 mark.

Will probably end up coupled with a e8500 but will probably see if I can push any more from my e6400 first.

Phase cooled so any comments on differences in the socket area would be appreciated?

Which of the above offer the most vcore? Am I right in that p45 boards allow an increment over the standard vcore rather than an absolute max?

Cheers,

Is it that good? I never thought much of it, as more performance came from CPU and tRD (which I can't change on this board because it's linked to the memory divider).

2.3v and no extra cooling.

2.3 was the sweet spot, with anything more or anything less causing errors.

I think it maxed out at ~ 515 @ CAS 5.

the asus one has an easier to use bios than the dfi - but they are both very comprehensive

dfi let you tweak the memory more

cant comment on biostar
