I took my pc to a repair shop where they told me my mobo P5WDG2 WS and cpu were gone, I bought replacements E6600 and P5N32-e Sli Plus mobo

Both work great!

I RMA my mobo and cpu and they have now been replaced aparently the cpu worked fine??

my flatmate wants to upgrade his machine so whatever I don't use i will sell to him

should I keep the P5N32-e Sli or go back to the replacement P5WDG2 WS

other sys spec
Nvidia 7950 G2
4Gb crosair 6400 c twin pairs
Raptor 120Gb 8mb cache HD
2 Hyundai 19"

I'd keep the new board. not even sure if your E6600 will work in the old board

both boards work fine just not sure which is better

This is lintel chipset

and this nvidia chipset
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=495&l4=0&model=1567&modelmenu=1

vista gives my machine a 5.2 rating running at stock speed!

so when you say your new one I asume you mean the P5N32-e Plus board?

thanks

Mike
