which mobo

Hello

I am a first time PC builder, I am considering the following;

GA-EP35-DS4
P5Q-E
P5Q-Deluxe/pro

Together with a E8500 and 4G memory running vista 64

Now I have no idea about overclocking so really want at first go a stable reliable plug and off you go mobo with good performance. I will look at overclocking it after a month of stable operation, I just don't want to run before I can walk!!!

It will be used for Flight simulator X.

Go for whichever P5Q board falls into your price range.

the EP35-DS4 scores more marks in review test benchmarks tests, only a little though. Soem reviews say the P45 mobo's are not as good at the P35 and the x48 wins hands down at the moment.

that's why I wasn't sure, sometimes I think reading reviews does not help!!!

But how easy is it to overclock a gigabyte or asus mobo, which one is easy for a first time overclocker?

No reason to go for an X48 board unless you're going to be running Crossfire. P45 is just as good, and usually overclocks better than X48.
