Looking at upgrading my sons pc from a i5 4690k to a newer platform.
Wanted to go R5 5600x but crazy prices right now so thinking of getting a R5 3600 which means we can drop a 5600x in there in the future.

Need a board that will allow him to swap with the least amount of hassle.
Not into overclocking yet but would like to have that facility available.

I was looking at B550 boards but not sure which ones are plug and play for 3600 and 5600x.

Budget around £120, not too concerned if ATX or mATX.

His use is mainly gaming and currently has a RX480 8GB GPU in there but will want to upgrade that when the supply/demand situation is back to normal.

Any input appreciated.
