My machine is a few years old now...
4GB Corsair DDR2
Q6600
GeForce 8800GT2
It's running on a 700w Corsair PSU which is just mega over kill. The main issue is actually the space it takes up - I want to put more disk in the machine and the drive bays actually hold cables...not disks..as there is nowhere else to put the cable.
I don't do as much gaming as I used to (moved to XBox now) and I am not really bothered about overclocking the parts anymore (I also want to replace the silly big cooler I bought for the original to keep it quiet).
I would like a modular PSU which is good quality but just enough to cover this spec with a bit extra for when I play games (Crysis Warhead is the newest PC game I have).
I was thinking the a Corsair 450watt unit...would that do the trick or could I go lower? I want to make it as eco-friendly (read wallet friendly) and as quiet as is feasible for the spec.
Thanks
