Hi Guys 'n' Gals,

I'm in desperate need of a new monitor! I've had the same 17" Mitsubishi Diamontron CRT for years, and its frankly too small for most modern websites and programs! I'm sick of scrolling left and right (resolution is 1024x768, any higher than this and everything is stooopidly small!).

So, I need to get a new monitor.

OCUk are about 20mins drive away, so I can pick up directly, so I just need to decide on the monitor. My budget is a measly £150.

I need it for general browsing, occasional games, but my biggest use is video/photo editing. I was thinking that I might have to keep the CRT as a second monitor for final checking of images for colour reproduction??

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 3400 series.... One day I might be able to afford to update this rig!

These are the options I've found so far:

All opinions & views welcome.

Thanks,

Andy.

EDIT:

I've just found this.... surely it's too good to be true????

Took delivery of the BenQ LED the other day. Had a G2420HDB before but returned.

All is fine, can't really tell the difference between this LED and the G2420HDB in respect to PQ and brightness.

The only thing I've noticed is that the responsiveness of the dynamic contrast is a lot faster and it doesnt "buzz/hum" when under 90% brightness (reason for G2420HDB return )

Cheers for the input guys... I'm edging towards the BenQ G2420HDBL, looks like a lot of monitor for the money.

Cheers,

Andy.
