Which Monitor for Professional Photo Editing?

Hi,

I need a new 21 or 22" monitor which will mainly be used for professional photo editing. It won't be used for any gaming so a fast response time isn't required.

Budget of around £400

Which models would you recommend?
Links to reviews etc?

P.S - I already have a Colour Management device so don't need another.

As a wildcard suggestion, try and pick up a LaCie Electron Blue IV 22" CRT.

Fantastic colour reproduction, especially when paired with a LaCie Blue Eye Pro or equivalent calibration tool, and would come in at roughly half your budget for one in immaculate condition. Only sRGB though, so if you need a wider gamut then you'd best stick with a TFT.

Any CRT , basically

Better crt's for photo editing for £30 off a well known auction site than any £300 lcd.

Don't forget to budget for buying/building a hood for consistent light if you're going to be doing pro work.
