Hi all,

I am looking for some advice on which monitor to go for as I havent' bought a new monitor in years and this will replace an existing 3 screen setup.

I am currently looking for a 3 screen setup with each screen no larger than 24".

This will be run from a single EVGA 1080 GTX Ti which has 3 DP and 1 HDMI.

My budget is max £150-£200 per screen.

This is mainly used for gaming and some photo editing.

Main games being played at the moment are PUBG, Total Warhammer 2 and WoW but include many others such as WoT, Overwatch, Battlefront 2, Battlefield 4.

Many thanks for your help.

Problem is I would have to run games in windowed mode to view things happening elsewhere on the screen as I often like to have Discord, Browser and other things open on the other screens.

The other option I have considered but dont know if its feasible is to keep 2 of older monitors I have which are dell U2311H and buy 1 more expensive good monitor to go in the middle for gaming.

Would this work?

I dont run a game across all 3 screens ever as there are more often than not so many issues with FPS drop and FOV.

Awesome thanks for the help.

I have listened to what you guys say and going to go for a good 27” monitor to replace my centre screen.

With a max budget of £750 what do you recommend? An IPS panel with 4ms response or a 1ms TN.

Is G Sync worth it?

Great thank you for the help and explanation.

I have decided to go for the Acer to complement my new rig I will post a pic when it arrives and is all set up.

Cheers
