Hey, I'm interested in getting a monitor As soon as possible. Will even order today if i can get some good reccomendations.

so far i've read the reviews for a Hazro monitor and the Dell 2407, and the Dell has really bad latency, which won't do.

I'm looking for a gaming monitor btw. FPS/MMORPGS is what i mainly play.

I'm also looking for it to be 24 inches.

So just to clarify: 24 inch gaming monitor. (I have no color calibration tools either.)

Thanks in advance,

Combusted.

If no one has any suggestions, could someone give me the link to the site where they have monitor reviews for 24"'s? I was looking at it a few weeks ago... but have forgotten what it was called...

The 2407 (no HC) didn't have bad input lag, however, the 2408 does.

One of the sites that has a few reviews is TFTCentral.co.uk

The TFTCentral review for the Samsung245B seems good, and it's nice and cheap, is there any reason why it's so much cheaper? Average input lag is only 7.5 O.O

Any downside to this screen?

It's a 24" TN panel, so you get insane colour shifting when moving your head anywhere off centre.

The Benq G2400W/V2400 seems to get near enough universal praise as a 24" gaming monitor. Apparently has good picture quality, good enough blacks etc and great response time.

Also supports 1:1 pixel mapping if you are a stickler for non-stretched pictures in HD movies/console gaming, and has HDMI, DVI and VGA ports (I think).

As for TN panel colour shifts it really isn't an issue horizontally these days despite what people say. Vertically its not great but if its a gaming/general use monitor that really doesn't matter.
