I was seriously concidering buying some more AOC monitors but I have just lost all confidence in the company when it comes to warranty.

Put a warranty claim in 2 weeks ago. Got a fairly speedy responce about 2 days later saying they were sending out a replacement within 2-3 working days.

I am still waiting and all I get is no replies to my emails

The best email was this one which I recd 25th May

Dear Mr. Ellis,

Thank you for your reply.

We have posted the warranty claim. Shortly, the service center will contact you with more information about the replacement.

In the meanwhile, please package your monitor properly and do not include the cables and the accessories.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need more information.

Kind Regards,
Vlad

So it looks like I will NOT be buying from that company again.

Therefore looking for suggestions as which Manufacturer to buy from

I don't really think it's fair to judge support and warranty service during the current Coronavirus times? I doubt that any manufacturers would be performing much better, given the situation.
I would agree, however when I did a google search I came across loads of unhappy customers. I would also suggest that they could at least respond to my emails.

Edit: Just had an email from AOC, apparently they have no stock of the monitor, like I said I would rather have bad news than no news, however they should have told me this last week

Yeh they tried that on me and I suggested that if they insist on asking question in dribs and drabs it was going to take a very long time to get things sorted :)
