Hi, new here and just got a new computer built up and am now just looking for a new monitor. Currently using a Bush LCD TV hooked up via VGA which is horrible, so I really need a proper monitor w/dvi input. I dont want anything bigger than 19" really, I think thats even pushing a bit - I'm actually fairly happy with the 15.4" on my laptop but things can get a little bit crowded on that.
It seems like LG are best value for money. I've been looking at 4 of theirs - the L1960TR, the L1970HR, the L1953HR or the M198WA
Are all of these good with not much difference between them or should I be looking at different brands/models? The L1953HR is interesting me the most because its got height adjustment - I dont like having a screen that is too high up, I actually prefer looking down on them which is probably due to spending so much time on the laptop. The M198WA has loads of inputs so I could use it for tv, 360, pc, freeview etc, but does it actually function well as a monitor?
Oh, and are widescreen worth bothering with or should I stick to a standard one? Not sure what my laptop has on it, but I like whatever it is. Dell Inspiron 6000 if anyone knows the spec/size for that monitor? I do like gaming and watching movies on the computer so would widescreen be best for that or will a standard one be fine?
Sorry for the huge post
