which monitor upto 200 quid

want a gaming monitor which would you go with ?

mainly for fps but also good image and a great default set up is wanted.

looked at these upto yet

Dell P2414H
Dell UltraSharp U2312HM


anyone got any good recommendations?
 
read those reviews cheers still not sure that aoc got some bad reviews, the asus has speakers on aswell.

everyone i seem to be looking at has some bad point :(
 
can you tell me if the picture goes right upto the edge of the screen?

no gaps.

i seen a picture earlier of that monitor and there was like a 5 mm gap :confused:

some monitors have this and i don't want that. reason i returned a samsung monitor other day :p

Oh dear lol. Yes it does.

The reason you see that is a software setting. AMD ( not sure about Nvidia ) has over/underscan enabled I forget which. You just have to change this, its not a hardware issue.

no i did overscan in ccc and it wasn't fullscreen ;) on left there was a 5mm gap. it was like the edge of the panel on the left wasn't in the bezel. was instantly refunded.

many monitors now for some reason have not full screen and have silly bezels or black bars . been surprised how many i looked at over weekend that are new that have this.

asus one or the dells are still what im thinking about but not sure.
