As above, built a new Pc as old one was just a few years of age always loved nvidia/intel but this time i went with amd ryzen 5 3600 and an amd radeon rx5700 xt.
Currently i am hooked upto a dell U2515H monitor which i have at 2560x1440 resolution with a refresh rate of 60hz, everything looks the same as my old pc nothing popped out of the screen to punch me in the face (old pc is a gtx970) so am thinking maybe the monitor needs an upgrade.
due to space limitation on custom built desk 27inch would be the max size i could go and could probably aim for £300 ish mark.
what do you suggest

thanks

the only 2 really in my tight fisted price range are

illyama gmaster red eagle

and

acer nitro xf272up

Keep away from the Acer Nitro and look for monitor reviews (including the Illyama one) before you buy.
I have for 4 years now the XL2730Z which is TN panel. With 5 minutes tweaking the settings proposed by reviewers, is been a stunning monitor, crystal clear image, without motion blur etc.
Is fantastic on competitive gaming which I do.
Also new TN panels are even closer to the IPS colours and if the monitor gets damaged atm, I would have hard time to justify anything different to replace it than it's TN replacement. (micro-Led yes).
Saying that Illyama model is 2 years old.

For heaven sake @MissChief don't propose a monitor that is reported already as a lemon, because is just IPS.
