Hi folks,

Looking to replace my aging and dying Dell 21" CRT. Its got the age old problem of brightness being shot.

I bought an ACER 24" screen last year and immediately returned it (not via OC, was another firm) as it was very bad for image work, colours werent uniform, neither was lighting.

Being a TFT noob (tried to keep away as much as possible) I thought I'd open my query up to the knowledgable folks here.

Buget wise up to £500 would be ok, but of course the cheaper the better. Screen size from 19" upwards as thats what I am using on my Dell 21" anyway.

I'd be using it for Photoshop work, dealing with RAW edits and a fair bit of post processing. Same with Sony Vegas Pro for HD editing of video, and of course Counter Strike Source :D

Thanks folks,

R.

Thanks for the reply, hadnt heard of Hazro before but have had a look around the net and they seem to be new though well respected.

Being a pro tog yourself, how much messing around did you have to do to get it looking good after taking it out of the box?

And whats it like for gaming as the response times on these types of panels are slower than the cheapo LCDs?

Many thanks,

R.

PS: Love the shots on your site, I need to get my finger out and get out there in the wild again this year!
