which monitor?

hey trying to decide between these 2 monitors

Samsung SM-206BW 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Glossy Black

and

Samsung SM-2032BW Pebble 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Glossy Black

will be used for gaming(crysis once i buy it ) and watching dvds.

I find samsung monitors seriously over-rated. I`d pick a 22" and look at hyundai and or LG

hummm dont really fancy spending anymore than the price of those two tho on tight budget and thats the limit and they have a contrast of 3000:1, dont know much about monitors but im pretty sure the higher the better with that

Ive seen several samsung monitors, and whilst one of them was stunning PQ, the others were very lame (back light bleed). I own a belinea 22", there a bit naff, but ive had mine ages

which was the stunning one? bet it cost a bomb

Dont recall the exact model, but what i can say, no two same spec monitors look identical PQ wise, its a case of suck it and see im afraid.

My pebble had awful backlight bleed when i got it, however some tinkerage with brightness settings has made that all but disappear (lowered the monitor brighness to 10 from 50, and upped the graphics card output brightness a little bit - looks exactly the same but minus the backlight bleed)


Now that ive got rid of the annoying backlight issues, the colour quality is good and the response time is pretty damn good too.
