Which monitor?!?

Hi all,

here are my new computer specs:


Intel core i7 920

Akasa Nero CPU fan

Asus P6T mobo

Nvidia GTX 295+

6GB Corsair Dominator 1833Mhz

1 TB hard drive Samsung

1100 W power supply

Vista Ultimate 64Bit...

...now I need to get a decent monitor to replace my old SyncMaster 2232 BW.

I will mainly use it for gaming, video & still images editing (not professionally) and possibly the odd blu-ray movie, the size...anything between 24'' and 30'' and the budget...well, if I really, really, really have to up to £1100; having said that I wouldn't mind spending way less than that...

So far I have been looking at:

BenQ FP241W 24in

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi

NEC MultiSync 24WMGX3

HP LP2475w Black 24"

Hazro HZ26Wi rev2.1 26"

NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi 26''


Any suggestions??

Benq FP241W ***! Though the 24WMGX has come down in price epically, the Benq still wins on value, & there really is nothing to fault the Benq on, I love it
