which 24" monitor would be best for crossfired 5770's gaming wise ? , or would it be better to get 3 smaller screened monitors for eyefinity ? . i will have around the £140-175 mark at the end of the month for one

For that budget, the BenQ G2420HDBL no question.

yh id go with PCM2's suggestion. its cheap

but only thing is no HDMI. but that isnt a big deal.

Well it is if you are on a sub £200 budget. For that money any triple eyefinity setup would be pretty poor. Especially considering 1 of the monitors will need to be Displayport - or using an expensive active adapter.

For this budget the BenQ that PCM2 suggests is the best deal for gaming.
