Which Monitor?

I'm after a new monitor for use in gaming, programming and web browsing. The latter two work especially well with a larger monitor, as my current 22" 1680x1050 is feeling a little cramped. I'd quite like to see what the IPS malarky is all about, but am concious that for my budget, a U2401 is going to be too much.

Budget: whatever my 2233RZ and 3D Vision kit sell for plus a little extra. So, I'd guess around £300.

I've looked at the following (in ascending price order, from £263 to £339):
-Viewsonic VX2739WM - can't get much more real estate than this! 1920x1080 (not so good), 27", but is meant to have good colour reproduction for a TN and a stupidly fast response time.
-Dell U2311 - 1920X1080, 23", and it's IPS, though not a wide gamut. Not a brilliantly fast response time, but IPS monitors generally don't. The ability to turn to portrait mode is very useful.
-Ilyama Prolite E2607WS - 26" and 1920x1200, fast at 2ms and colour repro isn't meant to be too bad.
-Viewsonic V3D241wm-LED - released today, 24" 1920x1080 at around £300. 120Hz.
-HP ZR42w, 24" and 1920x1200, plus it rotates. Plus, it's an IPS, though still a standard gamut. Over budget though.

Now, I'm not sure what's most important to me at this stage. I guess it'd be (in order):
-Bigger than my current monitor - though they all are above, but I mean noticeably so
-Response time
-Colour accuracy
-16:10
-Ability for rotation, though this can be added to any monitor.

I know that these criteria immediately narrow the choices down to the HP and the Ilyama, but what do people reckon?

If you can stretch your budget then the HP ZR24w is the 'best of the lot' in your list, particularly if you will find the extra resolution desireable. If you think you can live with the slightly lower vertical resolution of the U2311H then I'd go for that as it is comfortably within your budget. I actually have an excellent thread on my forums considering some of the options you have - here.
