Hi all,

I'm currently looking for a screen and currently torn between 2 choices.

EX3210U
G3223Q

I like the idea of built in speakers just to save on desk space but the reviews seem in favor of the dell panel. If anyone had any input on these or if there's a better model at a similar price point that you can reccomend that would be brilliant. Its mainly used for gaming/movies.

Thanks,
Mike

Best 4K 32" IPS in that price range, I think it will come back down to £579 come Black Friday if not cheaper.

Was eyeing this one up myself over the weekend but it seemed to go out of stock yesterday. Dissapeared from one well known high street retailers website and was shown as out of stock on LG's site (OcUK don't stock it). Bizarely checking just now before posting it seems to be back in stock  Will try and hold on until black Friday to see if it gets any cheaper.

I have seen this too, it comes back in stock on LG's site the next day. You can set an e-mail stock notification. There's not much you can do really if people are buying, I would not worry about this monitor disapearing though it is very new, it's not going to go EOL any time soon. PS if you "sign up" to LG's site, you get 5% off your first purchase if within 90 days, but obv, don't sign up until you need to.

Just picked up the LG for £549. Gave up on trying to get the extra discount via my works staff benefits scheme, hatful app (vivup) and wouldn't have had the protection of paying via credit card. Should be available to pickup from my local store on Monday.

I was looking at the same monitor - it would be good to hear how you're getting on with it - are you pleased so far?

I've seen some reports of fan noise with the monitor, which could put me off depending on how loud it is.

@Tejstar Delighted with it so far. Only just got it properly set up after being gifted a monitor arm for xmas. I should disclaimer that I haven't gamed on it yet, as I mainly sim race in VR, but I've been viewing my race replays on it and they look beautiful. I've not had a VRR monitor before but the motion, I use the SDR preset which looks the overdrive mode, is buttery smooth. Subjectively screen uniformity looks good and no backlight bleed/IPS glow on a black screen - e.g. when it powers up. For the price zero complaints.

I didn't know this monitor had a fan, not that I'd hear it anyway as I'm either using headphones or the on ear speakers on my VR headset. I have just stuck my ear to the back of the screen and couldn't hear anything.

Thanks for the reply @stephenb, appreciate it. I'll probably wait a few weeks to make sure there's nothing out of CES 2024 that piques my interest more, but otherwise I'm very likely to pick this up.

I was looking at the OLED monitors which look great, but over 75% of my usage is productivity vs gaming, so don't feel comfortable with potential burn-in issues. I feel that picking up an IPS monitor for a few years will hopefully see more Mini LED monitors appear at a reasonable price when I next come to upgrade!
