well i'm in the market for a new mouse as my other only around 6 months old, is already fallen apart

whats your favorite mouse?

i went from logitech with the mx 518 lasted a long time until it started decaying then to roccat kova which decayed quite soon so i'm presuming to go to razer?

i've been reading public reviews and people don't seem that confident with Razer's products and the robustness? i'm quite mixed.

is this means anything:
*using soft mat
*i like intermediate high dpi
*erm.. a good mouse, erm... like good technical stats. i.e. repsonce time & accuracy??

personally i would go with the deathadder.

never had a problem with any of the razers i've had, and i've had qiute a few

MX 518 / G5 / G9 / G500 / G9X

Depending on your budget and/or needs : )

I would personally go for the G500 if you can afford it, think it was on awesome offer for 30quid not sure if it's still up but if it is you can't really beat that.

just to justify, i already own a Mx 518 lol :)

it still works but is just decaying quite a bit.

i decided to move to the flatter mice which brought me to a roccat kova but at times it uncomfortable & gave wrist pain.

after all the posts, i do conclude its a battle between

G500 vs Death Adder

Both seem to be quite decent mice but how comfey are they?

DeathAdder uses a claw grip style and is the best mouse I've ever owned.

G500 uses a palm grip style and I have heard bad things about them, the only reason people are recommending them is they recently dropped in price. It's up to you thou, Deathadder is an extra tenner.

i have a microsoft habu. served me well, loads of stuff to tweak in the software you get with it..

a solid mouse, had it 3 years and its like new.

the claw grip? i think the deathadder is a similar design the my kova, what do think the ratio of wieght is between the mouse and the wrist?

mx 518, it has a good ratio shifts a lot of weight from my wrist, kova- most of my wieght is on the wirst causing wrsit strain.

Personally I have never heard people complaining about the G500. I have one and love it. When I use an ordinary mouse my wrist starts to pain. Never have this with the G500.

Eh?

I'v paid 80quid for the g5 when it came out years ago and would still recommend it over any of the razer crap thats made from cheap plastic and has nowhere as many features as the logitech counterparts.

The 10quid difference only makes the choice even easier.

The only good razer mice you can consider is the naga for the 9 extra buttons if you can actually use them effectively and that's will be the only reason.

Logitech MX620! - Really comfortable, solid build. Heavy but in a good way and an excellent reciever.

By the way Logitech is known for its excellent customer service should your product develop a fault.

I should have said, I heard bad things from the G500 Rev2, the old ones are supposedly better then the new ones.

Roccat Kova uses a claw grip style like the Deathadder I believe.

lol it's like impossible to make my mind up, probz gna flip a coin lol.

i've been reading a lot fo reviews and there starting to flip me off. they go back to the same point about hand size.

how do you define your hand size?

i quote: "so it's definitely intended for people with large hands" for deathadder. i know the G500 is designed for large hands due to follow the simlar design to the g5 & mx 518.

i'm gona go ahead, people with a deathadder, whats the length between the middle finger and the thumb when naturally streched out, mines 174 mm

p.s. naturally means like when all your fingers are flat and the middle finger & thumb form a rightangle

If you don't like it I'll buy it off you ( but obviously you'll love every single bit of it ).
