I am wondering which drivers I need to install on my ASUS B560. I don’t like to bloat my pc with unnecessary drivers. Gaming general pc.

under chipset it has:-

Intel consumer ME driver
Intel Serial IO driver
Intel management engine interface
Intel Gaussian and neural accelerator
Intel chipset driver
Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver

any ideas what is needed and what each one is for.

If you don't want bloat then don't bother with any of them, most peripherals will grab a basic driver from Windows Update to make them work which is all you'll need.

The drivers from motherboard manufacturers tend to contain extra software which if you're not interested in, you don't need.

but won’t installing certain ones mean the system is not running up to speed as running Microsoft drivers?

out of that list is there any people would install?

Windows 10 will get the driver for the most part, however if you want up to date drivers on such a new chipset then just get the actual chipset driver from Intel directly.

Does Intel Rapid Storage drivers not increase speed on drives? I heard they needed for RAID (which i wont be using). Or is sticking with the defauly MS ones considered good for speed
