Which motherboard help!

Hello,

This is a strange request and without going into a very, very, very long story, let's cut to the chase.

Which motherboard would you recommend for the Intel Core i7 980x CPU and 6 x Corsair Vengeance RAM code CMZ8GX3M2A11866C9. :confused:

I am at my wits end with faulty motherboards from a particular supplier; not Overclockers.

I would suggest the ASUS X58 Sabertooth TUF, solid board, long warranty, good features and nice performance - here is a review.

What's your budget and what do you intend on using the system for? For that CPU I would suggest something a bit more high end tbh

Hello,

I have gone through 4 Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard. 1st board the sound card died, the second and forth had missing pins where the CPU goes and finally the third has a faulty 6Gb port, so I would like to avoid Asus; lost faith in their boards.

Budget is getting the right board without going overboard; no pun intended

but for general PC use, Adobe suite, graphics, but not games

I would like at least two 6Gb ports
