Which Motherboard

Hi
I'm going to be building a system soon(ish) and want to make sure I get the right stuff. I will be gaming and surfing so want a cost effective but still arse kicking system (don't we all) I want to use an E6600 because of the 4Mb cache and I will overclock but it will probably be on stock air or slightly uprated air cooler. The question is...... Which motherboard that will let me overclock will be great and is a reasonable cost, I will pay for a decent item but I don't want to pay for a flash item when I just want strong workman like quality. Hmmm I don't want much do I?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Sure I read somewhere that MSI's 965 board was good....value against performance and all that.....but would personally recommend ASUSs various offerings - that said, the Gigabyte DS3 can be a cracking little board for OCs and is relatively well-specced.....
