Hello everyone, In 2 weeks time i will be purchasing a new motherboard but im not totally sure which one to buy. I have a budget of around 80 quid. I will be putting a 8800 gts, 2gb ddr2 4300, 250gb sata and currently a e6300 chip (hopefully a 6600 very soon) inside the pc. Could you please advise me which are the best to get. Im changing coz the board ive got now doesnt have a pci-e x16 slot only 4x so it wont fit my new card when it arrives. Thanks in advance

Wait for a week til we see what the new Intel boards are offering.

Tho I assume you're not planning to overclock with PC4200 memory?

The G.Skill seems to be fine.

Whilst you can run your memory slower than the CPUs FSB speed with the P5N-E, the difference between your pc4200 and what you would be aiming for your FSB to get to would be too much IMO.
