Which motherboard?

Hi all,

Thinking if building a new pc with an i5 2500, GTX 580 etc but I'm unsure which motherboard to go for? I've seen msi, asrock and gigabyte boards but I'm unsure which one/model is best for a gaming rig?

Whats your budget for the motherboard? What features do you require?

Budget £150-200 and I'm not sure on features as I've been out of pc builds since 2005 so probably the best performance/ bang for buck. Thanks!

Top board has all the Z68 chipset features too

Thanks, stupid question but I've got an die DVD rw drive I understand new ones are sata cab I get a converter cable from ocuk or is it worthwhile getting an sata DVD rw? Thanks.

Make sure that's an i5-2500K you're getting.

They're the ones with the unlocked multiplier for overclocking goodness.

A new SATA dvd burner is £17. Its the simplest and more elegant solution to your needs.
