which Mouse for Office use?

Hi

looking a new mouse for here in the office
i'm not doing any specific job like CAD etc, but i am at the computer 9-5, Mon-Fri, so would like something comfortable, lightweight, ergonomic etc

Logitech MX Performance Mouse was a consideration

what do you folks use/recommend

I use the Logitech Performance MX for work, last around 30 days after being charged, very comfortable, and the little features make life easier especially when I'm working with documents.

Would recommend for what you're after.

how does that battery work, is it internal or an AA recahrgeable?

do you use it with a mouse mat? i have one of those mats with the gel rest at moment.
is it designed for one
