Which mousemat?

I use my computer while sitting in an armchair and wondered what mousemat would be good to put over the arm of the chair. It's a leather armchair and the arm is 9 inches wide. The leather itself works okay but I want better performance.

It needs to be a cloth mousemat (I have a hard steelseries one from back when I used a desk but it's too big and wobbles for this task)

I was looking at this

but I'm not sure if it's flexible enough to sit comfortably on an armchair arm.

seems okay but I'd rather hear from someone who has one and can let me know firsthand - or maybe someone uses a mat in the same way I plan to.

Really wasn't sure where else to post this but it is for pc gaming so this seems as good a forum as any.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion but I think it might be overkill. Plus it's not clear how flexible it is for how I intend to use it (over the arm of a chair)

When I go to my mates house, who plays PC like you but with no mousemat, I normally take along my Steelseries QcK Gaming Mouse Pad (the really small one) and I get a place mat from his dinner table and put it on that on the arm of the chair (the arm is a flatish surface). It's not brilliant but needs must and all that as I just can't play any FPS on the arm of the chair without it.

As for advise; out of those two you have linked I would choose http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GS-002-OZ&groupid=702&catid=32&subcat=. I have never used it before but it looks the same as the Steelseries one I have.

EDIT: I also have the BoogieBug XXXL mat (it's ******* awesome!), but I'm not gunna be as stupid to suggest to use that over the arm of your chair lol

You could use it as a mouse mat, then when you go camping, you can sleep on it for the ultimate glide and comfort.

iI use the Boogie bug. I have it cut up, with most of it on my desy but a part of it i have wrapped around a large book so that i can use it from the sofa:cool:

I imagine it would be fine for your use, on the arm of a chair. I have used it on my sofa before with no problems.

Now that they are back in stock i might pick up another one

It's very very flexible, and with the size of it you can make it any size you want with a decent pair of scissors :)

Honest m8 theres no mouse mat out there better

The boogies are very flexible and good, shame mine seems to always get dirty, still smooth'ish and mouse still tracks fine though
