Which mug gets the sugar?

Here's the scenario - we have two contractors working on our house, roofers, although their profession has no bearing on the correct answer in my estimation.

One of the roofers has sugar in their coffee, the other does not - to help differentiate the coffees we give one a white mug, and the other a blue.

I personally put the sugar in to the correct mug, but my partner puts it in the wrong mug - but which is which, which mug gets the sugar? A poll would be appreciated so I can show my partner my intellect is superior.

Picture for attention.

What colour are the rest of your mugs and do either of you normally take sugar? For example, if neither of you take sugar and most of your mugs are white then I would put sugar in the blue mug because it symbolises the odd one out.

We've got 6+ of each colour. My partner takes sugar, and will only drink out of a white mug. I'll use any mug, and don't take sugar. This only strengthens my argument and weakens hers, coincidentally.

You skimp on the coffee by the look of it!! Lol
Or over indulge in delicious Guernsey milk, you decide...

Good job that jar has a label to state it's a biscuit jar or you'd never know.
Correct - as it's empty over 99% of the time, biscuits were purchased due to the workers being here.

No, I would say this strengthens her argument of putting the sugar in the white mug. There is a clear precedent that white mugs usually have sugar and blue mugs never have sugar in your household. Therefore I'm going with white as the only logical answer for your household. I can't see the argument for blue at all anymore.

I've not stated which mug is the correct one to be sugared, only that I add sugar to the correct mug.

OP just seems intimidated by having real men at his house, whilst he is reduced to tea boy.
Quoted for truth :( I'd have burnt myself making them if it wasn't for my trusty Marigolds! Can't touch the same cup that they have.

The glass jar for biscuits may be daft, but they really come in to their own when differentiating between dog chews and dog treats (::confused::confused::confused:) - women, and their "pantry essentials".
