Which Music Player are you using?

Looking for a decent music player as at the moment im using vlc/media player, would like something a bit more professinal

Foobar2000. It's not the greatest without any plugins but can't be beat once you have it set up the way you want it.

How is foobar2000 going? You skinning it then?

And is the 0.2.5 release of Songbird worth playing with? Stable enough to take over from Winamp if I like it enough?

WMP11. I used to use Winamp on my old PC when it was on its last legs but I prefer the shiny lights of WMP now.

iTunes for Music, VLC for Video

iTunes is the only music player that I like, since it doesn't mess about with my files (so long as I tell it to) and it's not like Winamp/Foobar etc. which IMO are useless when you have over 1000 tracks.

Oh and my music is neatly organised in folders

*slap* how can you say foobar is useless with over 1000 files. seriously, foobar has no problem with thousands of tracks in the same playlist.

and you don't have to tell it not to mess with your files.... :cool:

plus you can customise it however you like. itunes is flippin horrible, that evil apple brushed silver look just doesn't fit in with most windows themes, espcecially in vista.
