Which music player for running?

Looking for a music player for use whilst out running.
My phone is a bit too bulky so looking for something small but still able to strap around my arm,

I use a Sansa Clip+. It's not particularly elegant but very small and light, clips onto your clothes and is also quite cheap.

That looks like a nice compact device.

I do like the ideal of wirelesss headphones but most rely on bluetooth and I won't to avoid taking my bulky phone with me.

I'm pretty sure I have a Clip as well, with Rockbox on it, cost me next to nothing on eBay for a refurb.

Perfect for the gym etc where I might accidentally crush it.

I've got a Clip+. The clip on it broke though but still OK for the pocket of my shorts.

I had a refurb clip too, although mine completely gave up the ghost after about six months. By that time i started taking my phone to record my runs anyway, but it was a good device while it lasted.

Ive use a sansa clip but im now just using my sony smartwatch and bluetooth headphones.

I had a refurb clip too, although mine completely gave up the ghost after about six months. By that time i started taking my phone to record my runs anyway, but it was a good device while it lasted.

Mines also gave up the ghost after about a year, I did put it in the wash about 3 times and stand on it though.

Infact it still works, I just can't see the screen!

As above, Sansa Clip is going strong and has to be around 5 years old.
