My options:

Inspiron Mini 10 Approx £299

Advent 4211c Approx £279

Samsung NC10 Approx £300

MSI WIND Approx £270 (Looks like the Advent)

Acer Aspire One D150 Approx £299

Which one guys, and why? I want to keep costs down but prefer a 10" Netbook. So far, the MSI looks good. Can it be upgraded of ram? Easy?

Please help if you can.

Not on your list, but Lenovo S10e at around £260

Here is why i love it:
Panel access to hard drive and ram.
Super build quality.
Looks good, not a finger print magnet - all matt finish.
Great driver suppurt - auto upgrades all system components.
Great screen, LED backlit, bight and clear.
Good keyboard, easy to type even with big hands - no flex.

How much ram will it take?

Is it quiet?

Lenovo s10e.

Is it upgradeable to 2g ram? Is 1gig soldered on? Can the drive be upgraded? What about fan noise? Thanks

Edit: Ruled out the Lenovo now. The ones below are the main contenders now:

Advent 4211c

Samsung NC10

MSI WIND

Waw! So much info. Still undecided.

I quite like the look of the Advent 4211c. It is a Wind rebadged so should be good quality. Then again, i like the Lenovo S10e but not sure as i have not heard of the name. NC10 is nice too but a bit more expensive!!

Well, bought the Advent 4211c. After selling a free Laptop i was given and fixed, for £180 the Advent only cost me £60!!!! This includes a 1gig upgrade of ram! Hoping to get it next week!
