Which new card?

My ATI PowerColor Radeon X800 128MB PCI-Express is failing on me, so I'm in need of a new card.

I want something which performs similarly to the above if possible, or whatever's best for my budget of £80. Bare in mind, I don't play many pc games, maybe the odd low-intense game a couple of times a month, but on the whole, I rarely play pc games. Main computer use, for internet, school work, occasional movies, some photo editing.

Any suggestions?

Some of my specs, if it helps:
- AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice 90nm (Socket 939)
- Epox EP-9NPA+ nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express
- G.Skill 1GB DDR ZX PC3200 (2x512MB) CAS2 Dual Channel
- Akasa Ultra Quiet 400W Paxpower Active

I don't really play pc games very often though to be honest, so going for the GT may not be as cost-effective. :)

Might still be worth checking out the relative performance on Tom's hardware tho'. The price differential isn't huge, but you might find you get a significantly longer time out of the GT.

I used to kid myself that I'd buy mid-range cards all the time and "Save" from buying high end. But I ended up replacing them so quickly that it cost me more overall - still, you pays your money, you takes your choice.:)
