Which non-SLi Motherboard?

After having my A8N-SLi Deluxe diagnosed as faulty, i've decided that i'll just replace the motherboard with a new one, as opposed to getting a replacement/repair.

Current spec is A64 3500+, 2GB Corsair XMS, Aeolus 6600GT PCI-E, 74Gb WD Raptor SATA, Antec Sonata-2 + 450w PSU

Have no intentions of going with dual graphics for a while yet, so i'm prepared to stick with single graphics capability, with a degree of overclocking options

what motherboards do people recommend?

Asus A8N-E is a decent motherboard, good for mild overclocking. For a heavier overclock look for DFI and Epox 9NPA series.

I would say that though as I have one.

Its rock solid, fast as you like, and looks good.

Would purchase aswell, however the hefty price puts me off
