Hey!..
I would like to change over to Nvidia GFX Card/s

So.. Please, Can anyone suggest which Card or cards I should get from Nvidia. To run Single or Sli.

Current Setup:

i7 980x Extreme CPU.
P6T Deluxe V2.
My native resolution is 1920x1200.
Current Card is Ati 6950 2GB.
Current PSU Corsair 750W

Budget for PSU (If upgrade needed)
and GFX Card/s is £300-£350.

I've had problems with there drivers in some games.
Saints Row the third for example. Can only run 40fps on a high end card
Where as Nvidia can run over 60fps on a much cheaper card.

The 6 series is currently having it's problems too:

with 2x 670's, i7 2600k @ 4.2:

2560x1600 - u3011
Everything set to very high (everything)
DX11
FXAA - very high
MSAA - 2x
Ambient Occulsion HDAO
Tesselation very high - (yes, you see a massive difference, some things have depth)

I can maintain as near to 60fps with those settings (using fraps). If I lift MSAA to 4x (because of the mis-reading of vram with sli I can) then the fps do dip but what is even worse is that damn 6 series st st stutter. You don't see it in fraps fps counter but you see it on screen, like something is tugging the screen refresh. On a 30" screen it's damn noticeable and not tolerable.

So dropped the MSAA to 2x with FXAA on vh and enjoyed the game. Looked amazing sometimes, good story and think it'll be the rare game I'll go back and play again.

I'm not saying not to get a 6 series as they are very good cards indeed, but you should be aware of the stutter bug, but, it doesn't affect everyone.

There is a huge thread over@Nvidia discussing it:

670 would have to be the KFA2 670 EX OC@£350:

Asus 7970 DCUII £10 extra with 3 free games, voltage at the moment can't be raised though iirc.

I have the 670 windforce very quiet easy to overclock. I have yet to encounter any micro stutter. Dont let the problem put you off not everyone gets it and if you do just dsr the card and get a dif one. The 670 is a fantastic card.
